Malware Analysis: SharkBot

The latest versions of the SharkBot banking trojan family are capable of a wide range of malicious activities. This includes stealing application credentials, intercepting SMS messages, installing other forms of malware, and more. The program is even capable of stealing control of the device.

SharkBot deceives its victims by disguising itself as a fake antivirus for Android. It even imitates Google’s Play Store icon.
